Glossary

The words you will see in every brief.

ATR (Average True Range)
How far a market typically moves in one candle. Bigger ATR = more volatile.
Moving average
The average closing price over a number of candles. Price above it suggests an uptrend.
RSI
A 0–100 gauge of how stretched recent moves are. Very low or very high readings are rarely sustained for long.
Support / resistance
Price areas where buying or selling has appeared before.
R (risk unit)
The amount risked on one trade. A result of +2R means twice the risk was gained.
Drawdown
The drop from an account's highest point to its lowest before a new high.

Why Momentra

Most trading content online is selling something – a signal group, a course, a broker. Momentra is an independent education project built on the opposite idea: show how markets move, explain the tools honestly, and let people make their own decisions.

Our rules: no buy or sell calls, no profit screenshots, no paid promotions, no affiliate links. If that ever changes, it will be clearly labelled and properly licensed.

Rules, not hype

We explain methods with clear, testable rules.

Data first

Briefs are generated from price data, the same for everyone.

Risk first

Every lesson starts with what can go wrong.

Plain English

No jargon without an explanation.

Questions

The short answers.

Is this financial advice?

No. Everything we publish is general education and market information. We never tell you to buy, sell or hold anything.

Do you sell signals or courses?

No. Momentra is free. There is nothing to buy and no paid group.

Do I need experience?

No. Start with lesson 1. The daily briefs make more sense once you've read the first three lessons.

Which markets do you cover?

Gold and silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum, the major forex pairs and the main stock indices.
